Thomas Anderson has been a student of the fire service since 2004. Starting in small-town volunteer departments in southern Kentucky, he is the Captain on Tower Ladder Number 3 on the Eastside of Charlotte, NC. His journey has led him to a passion for truck work, rooted in sound fundamentals, enhanced with modern technology and research. He is the Lead Instructor of FDIC’s Aggressive TIC Search HOT class. Is a Lead Instructor and has been the Lead Search Instructor for Insight Fire Training since 2014. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Fire Administration from Gardner Webb University, holds a Level 1 Thermography Certification, and has been blessed to travel around the world with Insight Fire Training as a Lead Instructor of the Intelligently Aggressive Search and the Intelligently Aggressive Fire Ground Programs.
Thomas has been blessed to travel the world working with firefighters, enhancing their search skills through Tactical Thermal Imaging to make the fire ground more efficient and more Intelligently Aggressive.
