Pat Heathcote has been in the fire service since he was a teenager on a small rural volunteer fire department in Maine since 2006. He is currently a Captain within the Bangor Fire Department, serving downtown as the Ladder 1 officer and shift Captain. Education and training have been a cornerstone during his career, striving to not only make himself better, but those around him. Pat is a passionate instructor who uses his own experiences when instructing to keep students engaged and encouraged. When not working shifts or training with Insight, Pat enjoys spending time with his wife and two daughters at their home, or enjoying a day outside hiking, hunting, or fishing in the rugged Maine outdoors.
