Hudson started in the fire service at a small volunteer department in North Texas in 2008. He currently serves as Lieutenant on a busy engine company at a large career Texas department. Most of his career, he has been assigned to special operations units. He has a passion for teaching and applying technology to enhance fundamental skills to make firefighters more efficient and effective in saving lives. He has assisted with Kill The Flashover and is constantly learning to improve as a firefighter and to better apply science and research to the job in practical ways.
