HEN Nozzles Insight Fire Training Special Event North Carolina 4/7/2026

Insight Fire Training is excited to offer a new training in partnership with HEN Nozzles. The class format would be focused on how fire attack efforts can be enhanced through proper stream placement by implementing TIC use. The following is a potential outline for the event. Please note that certain details may have to be adjusted due to the host site and any parameters of the location.

• 8-10:30 classroom portion: This will be provided by Insight Fire Training instructors and HEN Nozzle associates.
• 10:30-11:30 hands on sessions with demonstrations starting in an open area followed by flowing water in a burn building.
• 11:30-12:30 lunch on site.
• 1pm-3pm: Burn building fire attack simulations-We would place thin strips of colored plastic streamers hanging down in the doorway. These streamers will move as the stream strikes them. The blade pattern will cause all the streamers to move back showing how it stops the heat and smoke from moving towards the firefighters.
• 3:30-5pm: Thermal rebound demonstration (live fire demonstration-students will view the fire from the exterior. Only Insight Fire Training instructors and the host organization staff shall be permitted to make entry.

This class is offered in partnership with HEN Nozzles and cost per student is $50. A registration link will be posted soon on this page.
