Want to take your thermal imaging training to the next level?
Insight Fire Training Will be providing a 3-day thermal imaging class that includes live fire and is a must for anyone who will be using a thermal imager of any kind for training and real-world situations.
Day 1 (June 13th): Tactical Thermal Imaging Lecture:
This course will cover the introduction to tactical thermal imaging and spend intensive training on the application of tactical thermal imaging. This course includes demonstrations and active classroom participation.
Day 2 (June 14th) : Live Fire-Introduction to Tactical Thermal Imaging.
Students will be able to apply information learned by performing the following concepts:
• Tactical 360
• Identifying flow path, Fire direction of travel, and Access
points
• Go/No-Go Decision Making
• Enhanced Stream Placement
• Enhanced Search Methodology
Day 3 (June 15th): Live Fire-Intelligently Aggressive Search Operations
This class will combine time-and-battle-tested search techniques with updated modern thermal imaging technologies, designed to take your fireground searches to the next level. When applied properly, thermal imaging can enhance fundamentally sound aggressive search crews thereby making us more efficient and more successful. Communication and positioning of TIC operator for facilitating search efforts is essential component of this process. Fundamental search methodology relies on sound basics, from moving through the room quickly and efficiently to understanding fire and smoke behavior in a compartment. When combined with modern thermal imaging, firefighters take the upper hand and save lives. This class is about understanding all the tools at their disposal, when to use them, and how to use them properly.
