Introduction to Tactical Thermal Imaging is designed to provide a basic understanding of fire service thermal imaging usage. This course will provide the basis for understanding and proper interpretation of the image presented to a firefighter. This is not a comprehensive course but the very beginning of the thermal imaging journey. Each portion of this class: Understanding Heat, Understanding The Two Main Types of Fire Service TIC’s, Understanding the Key Attributes of Thermal Imaging, Understanding Thermal Imaging Limitations, And Fireground Applications can be expanded to 32 hours of training!
Who this course is for:
This course is for anyone interested in broadening their understanding of qualitative thermography which is fire service thermal imaging use. This can be the newly hired probationary firefighter up to the fire chief of the organization. It is presented in such a way that any experience level can relate to the material.

This portion is for demonstration purposes to provide the student with examples of how it can be used. The student will explore each of these components in depth in the next sessions of the training available here on this platform.
