Jacksonville Fire-Rescue Florida Train the Trainer
The following training program is a customized
32-hour course that will be delivered to the Jacksonville Fire-Rescue Fire Department in Florida January 8th through January 11th 2024.
This program will consist of 16 hours of classroom delivered over 4 days that is customized to the host organizations specific brand(s) of thermal imaging camera(s). The classroom portions will be followed by 16 hours of live fire hands on training.
This program will include:
• A custom student manual & an in- depth instructor manual (printed by the host organization).
• An SOG Template to assist the department with adding thermal imaging to their standard operating practices.
• Lesson Plans for their training staff to use and assist with training their department.
• Access to a custom shared resource folder for the host organization that offers videos, Power Points, and numerous resources to further their
thermal imaging training.
Each day will consist of 1/2 day of classroom training followed by a 1/2 day of live fire training for days 1-3. On day 4, the students will complete a live fire evaluation in the morning where they become the instructors. Each student will be graded/given feedback on their level of knowledge and understanding of the subject. The afternoon session will consist of implementation procedures for the host department to use to matriculate these concepts into their current service delivery.
Insight Training will provide five instructors for this event for a total of 25 students for this program. This is a closed event and not open to outside organizations or registrations.
